Reauthorize Violence Against Women Act
This week, some Republicans threatened to vote against the Violence Against Woman Act, a law that has been helping to protect women from violence for almost 20 years. Despite a history of bipartisan support, some Republicans would hold up this vital legislation due to the narrow and intolerant ideology of a few senators.
