Gearing up for the fall elections ahead, the Virginia Democratic Party has made a series of new hires and plans to open regional coordinated campaign offices as part of the push toward November.
That organization effort includes nine new senior staff members -- seven of them are regional field diretors who will overseen more than 30 organizers statewide.
The network will stoke grassroots campaign efforts through telephone outreach, door-to-door visits, and volunteer recruitment.
