Thankful for rail vote

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors made the right choice to extend Metrorail to Dulles Airport. Like so many in Loudoun, I am thankful for the decision because this rail system will spur economic growth in our county and throughout Northern Virginia.

With the Rail to Dulles, it has been estimated that the value of goods and services in Loudoun will grow by more than $20 billion in the next decade and gross county product will increase more than fourfold by 2030.

From the perspective of a recent high-school graduate, I’m particularly excited that with the addition of Dulles Rail to our local community, the average salary is expected to nearly double for Loudoun employees within the next 20 years.
